THE VANGUARD SINGERS w/ selections from Hymns Hot and Carols Cool on Proclamation Productions
Gospel records litter every thrift and flea market from one side of this country to the other. Most of those records have very little musical value. There is a small and minute portion which contain one or two tracks of some interest. Quite rare are the out and out amazing Christian records. Also rare are Xian records that focus on original material.
Though Hymns Hot and Carols Cool is far from amazing, it does boast a few tracks that might be considered to be at least marginally interesting and all of the music is original, written just for the teen chorus heard on the record.
