Hey There Daddy-O

I've been meaning to throw this one up for some time... today's as good a' day as any.

FONTANE SISTERS- Daddy-o (Dot 15428)

Okay this ain't a real Father's Day tune, but what the hey. The Fontane Sisters turned in an infectious jiver with this release, complete. It's goofy and sweet, but so's a big hunk candy bar. And both things make me happy for a few minutes.

"Daddy-O" was penned by Midwest hillbillies Charlie Gore (cut the GREAT "Stumbling Block" and goofy "You Ain't Nothing But A Female Hound Dog") and Louie Innis and first recorded by Bonnie Lou for King records.
